How do we add NGOs on indiavolunteerportal.org

Understanding the need of the volunteers
Volunteers often want to work with NGOs in geographical areas where they live or work.
Volunteers have specific issue interest.
Volunteers want us to verify the credibility of the NGO.
indiavolunteerportal.org selects NGOs based on the above three criteria.

Inviting NGOs
We invite credible NGOs we know to share their volunteering opportunities.
We are now soon adding a criteria where the NGO has one committed contact person, who will be liasing with us and would respond to our queries related to volunteer appointments through mail within two working days.
If you are not online indiavolunteerportal.org and like us to add your NGO, mail your organisation profile and contact details of two institutional donors - either corporates or funding agencies. We will contact the donors and verify whether your organisation fits in our criteria. And if and once we are satisfied, we will invite you to register on indiavolunteerporal.org free.

Inviting NGOs based on volunteer suggestions
Volunteers can suggest NGOs too.
We would add these NGOs online provided they commit one person who can liase with us.
In volunteer suggested NGOs, we will relax the criteria of credibility of the NGO provided the volunteer gives us a letter indicating that she / he recommends this NGO. And at the end of the NGO page, we would indicate that indiavolunteerportal.org has placed the NGO based on the recommendation of a particular volunteer, who can be contacted for credibility of the NGO.
In case of the NGO being suggested by corporate volunteers, we need the volunteer to send a copy of the letter sent to us to her / his company's CSR / PR head for obvious reasons.
